Mohammad Saad Anwar: Saudi Arabia’s Youngest Foreign Investor

Young entrepreneurs are ushering in a new era in the Saudi investment sector, thanks in large part to the policy reforms under Vision 2030. This bold move has enabled the transition from an oil-dependent economy to one that relies on diversification, innovation and technological development. Startups in industries such as finance, e-commerce and renewable energy are thriving as barriers to entry are falling. These young companies are not only attracting foreign investors, but are also developing an entrepreneurial culture thanks to greater access to finance, mentors and a global network. The combined synergy of government change and entrepreneurial enthusiasm is fuelling the prospect of a thriving, sustainable future for the Saudi economy.

Mohammad Saad Anwar is one such investor and not a name that comes up in passing when discussing foreign investors in Saudi Arabia. Born on March 19, 1998 in Lucknow, India, Saad is making headlines as one of Saudi Arabia’s youngest foreign investors. From humble beginnings in India to notable success as a serial entrepreneur, the co-founder and CEO of Senyar Arabian Trading Company and European Segment Company has become a symbol of perseverance and efficiency. With numerous awards and articles to his credit, including a spot on the cover of Business Outreach Magazine’s “Business Leaders of the Year 2023,” Saad Anwar’s story is inspiring and educational.

Senyar Arabian Trading Company was founded in March 2018 by Saad Anwar, Shahzad Latif and Husnain Akbar. Saad Anwar’s business adventure started much earlier – in 2016. Saad found employment soon after graduating from school to support his family. His first job after school was as an account manager, but he was immediately dissatisfied. The corporate world seemed like a maze of distractions, but Saad’s determination remained unwavering.

Although starting Senyar Arabian Trading Company was difficult, Saad Anwar took on the responsibilities of front-end management, financial control, planning and growth. Shahzad and Husnain were in charge of the back-end and used their knowledge to drive the company’s development. The synergy was electrifying, and the company grew rapidly.

Saudi Arabian politics began to change, and Saad Anwar founded Senyar Arabian Trading Company with his partners in 2018. Saudi legislation changed company ownership in October 2021, allowing foreigners to establish companies under their own name. Saad and his partners benefited greatly from this change in the law. Saad Anwar and Shahzad Latif took over Senyar Arabian Trading Co. in July 2022, cementing their position as foreign investors in Saudi Arabia.

Incidentally, 24-year-old Saad Anwar is one of the youngest foreign investors in the country. In 2021, Saad Anwar acquired the European Segment company in Slovakia, strengthening his corporate holdings and establishing himself as a major international investor. Saad Anwar not only loves business, but also cars. He owns Porsche and BMW, proving his wealth and passion for cars.

As his businesses grew, Saad Anwar became increasingly involved in charity and community work. He founded an investment firm focused on supporting small and medium-sized businesses, recognizing the high need for development aid. Saad invested in local companies to support entrepreneurial dreams, leveraging his experience and financial resources.

Self-made millionaire Saad Anwar is known for his hard work, smart risks, and luck. He built a billion-dollar international company from nothing. Entrepreneurship requires tenacity, humility, and a desire for growth, which Saad demonstrates.

His wealth has not dampened his benevolence and humility. Many people who know Saad Anwar praise him for his unfailing kindness and the sense of family he creates in the workplace. Saad motivates and forces his employees to step out of their comfort zone and push themselves beyond their limits. He is also someone who uses adversity to his advantage. Despite initial criticism and difficulties, Saad saw them as stepping stones rather than obstacles.

Mohammad Saad Anwar’s investments and entrepreneurial zeal have had far-reaching consequences. He has made a significant contribution to the Saudi economy, created jobs and, most importantly, set an example for young, aspiring entrepreneurs around the world.

Saad Anwar’s career is a fascinating example of how to navigate the challenging world of international business – with a relentless drive and an ethic based on hard work and honesty.
